DO: Update paint, hardware, and light fixtures. Painting your kitchen and bathroom cabinets and adding hardware can give your home a fresh new modern look without breaking the bank. Replace old light fixtures with new modern ones like these pictured below. These minor, low cost changes can go a long way when selling your home.
DON’T: Over renovate. Before you spend a lot of money on a renovation, look to see what homes are selling for in your area. What finishes do they have? “You gotta spend money to make money” can only take you so far if your house is overpriced for your area!
